Project Pricing Each project is unique, therefore each requires unique pricing.   Please email alex@theplaceformastering.com with your project's: total number of songs (please note if there are multiple versions and/or configurations) total running time in minutes format:  single, EP, or album format of sources/mixes (including sample rate & bit depth) how many references are required how many production masters are required Also: For scheduling purposes, please indicate whether you wish to attend the session or not.  Include any comments you wish such as style of music, sonic concerns, the name of an album you particularly like the sound of, scheduling concerns, etc.  Studio Manager Alex. Single Special Get to know The Place...For Mastering and hear how great your music can sound!  We offer a Single Song CD Mastering package.  The package includes mastering/processing of one song (one version) and one CD reference for $200 (plus shipping if not done electronically).  Please let us know your schedule and shipping specifications and we will make every effort to turn your single around quickly.  Be assured that Joseph will personally put the same unparalleled experience behind your single as he puts behind every major label album. The Single Special is a great way to sample our mastering before committing to an album.  If you do a single from your album with us and then select us to do your album (including our version of the single), we will deduct the $200 single price from your album! Please note that multiple songs for an EP or album would average below the single song price--the more songs, the lower price per song! Fine print:  This price is for one session only.  If sizable changes are requested, they may incur an hourly fee plus shipping if applicable. Submission Tips As far as how to prepare your mixes, just make them sound the best you can.  Here is a list of tips: Please leave a little head room (3 to 5 dB) so that Joseph has some room to work/process.  Keep the mixes in the native sample rate you've been working in and keep the bit rate high (24 bit). INCLUDE the sample rate and bit depth in the documentation. Stereo interleaved .wav files are preferred, but if you have mixed to AIFF or SD2 just let us know and we will accommodate. Send all .wav files on CD-R or DVD-R using the ISO disc protocol. Name each file with the song name and version.    Leave 5 seconds of silence/room tone before and after each song. Do your own fade outs (and still add 5 seconds of silence). PLEASE LABEL your discs with your name and project title.  INCLUDE all technical info such as sample rate and bit depth for EACH song. Email alex@theplaceformastering.com to get our FREE and EASY to use dropbox address.  You may also ship us your album mixes via a traditional courier such as FedEx, UPS, USPS etc. Payment We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, debit cards, bank checks, and US Postal money orders.  Payment is due the date of your session. If you ship us your mixes, please include your money order or credit card info in the package: Please make the money order out to The Place...For Mastering.  For credit card payment, please include your name, card number, expiration date, 3 or 4 digit security code on the back of the card, and the mailing address of the cardholder. If your mixes are sent electronically: Please mail a money order to arrive before your session date. Or, you may phone in your credit card info before your session date.
